Rock And Roll                                                  “Rated G”

Sun. Feb. 7 at 2pm

TALENTED ROCK AND ROLL TRIO "SQUEAKY CLEAN" PERFORMS

WELL-LOVED SONGS OF THE 1950s 1960s AND 1970s FOR ALL AGES

"Their fresh take on rock and roll was the perfect summer evening entertainment for children and families and grandparents" The Ridgewood (NJ) News

"The band was terrific, had everyone toe-tapping and maintained a running commentary between songs...everyone has such fun." Manhasset (LI) Press

"[Their] carefully selected family-friendly songs from the 1950s 1960s and 1970s offer messages of harmony, reassurance, inspiration and fun." Queens Times-Ledger

The New York-based rock and roll trio "Squeaky Clean" has presented the best songs of rock and roll's early years since 1983, Renowned for their authentic look and performing style, the band always gives a knockout performance guaranteed to entertain all ages, from infants to senior citizens.

Their show includes such favorites as "Rock Around The Clock" "Build Me Up Buttercup" and "Stop! In The Name of Love." Their renditions capture all the excitment and energy you remember from the first time you heard these songs on your transistor radio. Many songs on the program are featured on their award-winning CD "Pull Together."

Suzanne C. Smithline slaps the bass fiddle, Glenn Paul Manion twangs his Gretsch guitar and Phil Leone keeps the beat swinging. Suzanne and Glenn's 13-year old daughter Addison joins them for many performances on alto and baritone saxophone.

The audience is always included in the proceedings. Suzanne gives instructions on how to perform the "hand jive." The Beach Boys' "Surfin' USA" includes make-believe surfing and swimming in the concert hall (look out for the shark!). The audience provides sound effects for the Chordettes' hit "Lollypop" and everyone cleans up at the end of the show while Glenn performs Bobby Darin's "Splish Splash."

SQUEAKY CLEAN presents over 200 performances each year. They have rocked The International Children's Festival at Wolf Trap, Central Park and Grand Central Station in New York City, First Night Celebrations in NYC, Connecticut and New Jersey and shared the stage on July 4th with Gary U.S. Bonds and Don McLean. Their performance of Sly and the Family Stone's "Everyday People" was featured on the soundtrack of the film "Prejudice: More than Black and White" for FFH Films.

SQUEAKY CLEAN was a regular guest on Nickelodeon's "Eureeka's Castle" and their appearances are fondly remembered by young adults many who watched them on TV as children. A typical comment left on their YouTube page (over 42,000 views): "I would sit with my grandmother in the living room, and she would watch me, and this was one of our HUGE favorites...[you] had such a great stage presence and charisma with children, well, you guys are just about heroes to me."
